It came late

GOODBYE 2005 & HELLO 2006!

My birthday is over and so is 2005. There are definitely great memories left in that year and I'm definitely going to miss it.

A brand new year with a brand new start as they always say. Tonnes of resolutions have been written out for some but as for me, I guess I'm sticking to my all-time resolution; being happy and making others happy as well.

Finally! After like a week of waiting, my birthday cake arrived! Someone was too busy to deliver it on time that he had to bake me another one. Soooooooo sweeeeeeet! I was shocked at the colour of the cake but nonetheless, I was touched by his sincerity in baking me a cake as my present. =)

It might not look like those expensive cakes but it means a lot to me. Why? Cos' he made it himself and not buy it from any bakery shop! Got colouring, got flavouring and chocolate rice to top it all up.

I don't know how many times I should convince him that it's yummy. Even my mom and dad said so! Just cos' it was a bit dry and that doesn't mean it's not delicious! I love it and I want some moooooooooooooore. Heh! Well, I'm looking forward to some baking lessons once I'm free.

He must be wanting to kill me for posting the pics on my blog but I don't care. I'm proud of him for baking a yummilicious cake even though it was his first time. Thank you for the cake Uncle. It was one of the bestest gift ever. =)
