Please don't do this to me!

I have accepted the fact that he's no longer available. I have accepted the fact that he loves her more than anything else. I have accepted the fact that he's willing to do anything to make her happy. I have accepted the fact that my status right now to him is nothing more than friends and colleagues. I have accepted it.

And then things just started to get uncomfortable. So why now? Why is he making me think that there is hope again? People say things happen for a reason. So is this one of them? I can never tell.
