Praying for your safety
He's gone. He's gone to a far away country. He's gone to a far away country to achieve his dreams; humping little Miss Minnie Mouse. Ok, ok. Kidding. He's gone to a far away country such as Florida to coach his Junior for his upcoming World Skills competition. Finally his dreams of going there came true.
Once he told me that he kept wondering why he has always been good in everything, but it's just that he hasn't been THE BEST in everything. I couldn't even answer him. He was disappointed and started saying that he's such a loser when he's not. He never was. Not even once.
But deep down inside me thinks that he doesn't need to be THE BEST so that everyone remembers him or respects him or speaks highly of him. He could just be him. With all the things he has done for me and others all this time, what more can we all say? In fact to me, he has always been No. 1.
I'm just worried about his safety. I just hope he flies and land safely from both Singapore to Florida and then back to Singapore again.
Ya Allah, please take care of him. Amin.
